My story
Hello.
First, a little bit about me. I’m an American, living in the UK since 2003. You could call me bilingual. For the last 13 years, I've worked at a design agency in Leeds.
My experience is deep. If it needs words, I have plenty – or just a few, depending on what works best. I also think visually. My first job in the business: Junior Art Director. But I kept trying to re-write copy, so they told me to just stop and become a writer.
My CV gives you the nuts and bolts of who I am. It also gives you some results of how my work has performed. I admit, I’m proud of those numbers.
They reflect my ability to see the world from the perspective of the customer or prospect -- to become the person I'm writing to.
That’s how I approach briefs. It’s about making your story relevant and meaningful to the reader.
